You turn them over and the product comes out – there’s no buttons to push to make that happen, it is just automatic when you turn the shaker upside down. Rechargeable so no batteries to deal with. review 4: When I first saw these on social media, I immediately came to Amazon because I knew I could find a good quality pair. I was right! These things are great. I was using manual grinders and if you need to make larger batches of food, it’s unforgiving to your wrists. Not only do these save my wrists, but I’m able to easily duplicate the amount of ground salt/pepper I need for multiple batches of food. Win win!

Negative review:
 review 1: These work well and I am quite happy with them for the most part. The only reason that I have entered 3 stars is because these were obviously returned and put back in stock. There were peppercorn shells in the bottom of one of the grinders. I venture to guess they were purchased and returned because they could not figure out how to turn them on. There is a tiny rubber spacer above the on/off switch that needs to be removed to turn them on and off, with no instructions to do so. This is battery salt and pepper grinders.


review 2: This electric salt & pepper grinders are working good. They are easy to use. After being fully charged and fully filled, just flip the switch to on (it should always stay to the on position) and the flip the grinder over to have it start grinding. Like manual grinders, there’s an adjustable knob on the to adjust how coarse the grind should be. The top also light up when grinding so it helps see the grains fall on the food.

A few things I don’t like: there’s sometimes a (long) delay before the grinding starts, and shaking the grinder can help starting it. After use, there’s a lot of leftover grains in the top, but there’s no protective cover to put over.

Battery charge seems to be good. Not sure how long it will last, I’ll see.
